“How can those few drops make a pond so clear?
All I know is that it works! It is amazing! I am so happy to have found this product.” – Steve
Steve C. is a Nualgi Pond user who cares for a 1400 gallon koi pond in the desert heat of Palm Springs, CA. It is a daunting task to keep koi healthy and happy in the desert setting. The temperature gets as high up as triple digits so the pond has definitely seen it’s fair share of algae blooms.
Steve originally reached out to us asking if he should continue using his UV light while dosing Nualgi. We advised him that he should turn off his UV light to allow the pond to naturally balance out. We also let him know that his pond may go a little green at first but after a few weeks of Nualgi dosing, the clarity would return. He was on his way to a more natural balanced pond without the band aid of a UV.

“Thank you so much for that information. My pond has never been easier to manage. I do find it takes much longer to rid the filter of material collected each week. The pond has never looked this good!”

“Wow! I have had fantastic results! I am amazed what that tiny dose weekly does to clarify my pond. The filter does fill up and needs a good backwash weekly. The fish seem really frisky even here in the desert with triple digits!”

“The water here is crystal even with the heat in the desert.”
“My pond is only 1400 gallons and is the cleanest ever and I stopped using the UV feature!”
