“I had to find something safe for all pond inhabitants.” – Renee S.
Imagine having a backyard and pond that has been certified a National Wildlife Habitat! Renee and her husband, from Dayton Ohio, have been pond owners since 2002 and like most pond enthusiasts, are always striving for that little piece of paradise. We think they have created it. We chose their pond for October’s Pond of the Month because of how picturesque it looks in this Fall setting.
We are all getting ready for changes in seasons and preparing our ponds for winter. Take a look below and share the journey with Renee and her wildlife pond!
July, 2016
“After several design alterations and partial re-builds we finally have this beautiful pond that features a 3′ waterfall that flows into an 8’x10′ pond which then flows down a stream-bed and over a smaller waterfall into a smaller pond. We thought the ongoing algae problems would diminish but they returned. I really wanted to avoid harsh chemicals, it is critical to find a product that wouldn’t harm any critter that would visit my backyard. My research found Nualgi!”
October 2018
“Nualgi successfully cleared up our algae dilemma by November 2016 (when these photos were taken) and it’s performance has been consistent ever since. I continue to be amazed that a product that is so simple to use produces such beautiful results.”
